Route and symbols

Route dataclass 

Route(
    group: str, color: str | None = None, width: float = 1.5
)

Lines joining the events of one group in the order they happened.

Parameters:

  • group (str) –

    The column that names a group (a request, a user, a process).

  • color (str | None, default: None ) –

    None: each segment in the colour of the event it starts at; or one colour ("theme" follows the plot's text colour).

  • width (float, default: 1.5 ) –

    Line width in CSS pixels.

Symbols

The names symbol= and symbols= take, in the order a category column gets them:

The shapes of events; a category column gets them in this order.
